October 11th is the due date, but Renee says this week will be fine. :-)
She's feeling a little uncomfortable, but I think she looks beautiful.
Can't wait to see you little one!

One of the best things about being a photographer, is when I get to put my childrens photographer hat on.
I love working with kids, and my niece Chloe is always a good sport about letting Uncle Matt take some new photos!
There's just something contagious about the smile on a little face.
And then of course I get to smile all over again when I'm going back later and working on the images. :-)

Ben and Vanessa were a fantastic couple to work with! Vanessa has an amazing sense of humour and always seems to have a smile on her face. Ben was quiet, but as you can see, he has a devilish twinkle in his eyes that goes along with his smile that made for some great photos.
As you know, this summer has been hit and miss for weather, and it didn't cooperate for Ben and Vanessa's Guelph Wedding, but they didn't let it stop the merriment. A great time was had by all, and I really enjoyed working with such a wonderful couple.
Ben and Vanessa are just so great together, and I wish them both many, many years of happiness and good times.
Here's a few of my favourites from the day. Click on any of the photos to see a larger image.
Mom and Daughter doing their earrings.
The girls got ready at the Travelodge on Carden Street in downtown Guelph.
The ceremony and reception were at the Italian Canadian Club on Ferguson St. in Guelph. We used their foyer for photos as the rain had decided to come down outside.
There's that smirk of Ben's I mentioned! :-)
The limo ride was a lot of fun! Unfortunately, the weather still wasn't cooperating, so we didn't get a chance to do photos in the park.
We did get some great photos in the limo though!
Hugging Grandpa after his speech.
Vanessa being cheeky. :-)

Just put together a nice little Youtube video of some of my favourite wedding photos from my wedding portfolio.
Some of these are Kitchener weddings, some are Cambridge weddings, and there's quite a few London weddings too. All of them bring back great memories of all the fantastic couples I've had the pleasure of working with on their wedding day.

Chris and Katie had a beautiful Kitchener Waterloo Wedding!
The weather cooperated, which hasn't been easy to predict this summer in Kitchener Waterloo, and everything went off without a hitch.
We started with getting ready photos of Katie and the girls at her parent's Kitchener home.
(Click on any of Chris & Katie's Kitchener Waterloo Wedding Photos to see a larger image).
Katie looked beautiful in her wedding dress!
It was a Kitchener wedding ceremony at Grandview Baptist Church, a beautiful church on Old Chicopee Drive in Kitchener.
We shot some photos of the Chris and the groomsmen before the wedding guests started to arrive for the ceremony.
After the ceremony, we were off to do some Waterloo wedding photos at the The Economical Insurance Company grounds on Westmount Road South in Waterloo.
Economical's Waterloo gardens and grounds are beautiful, and the fountain is always a Waterloo wedding photo favourite.
After Economical, we were off to the Perimeter Institute for a different Waterloo wedding photos location.
The Clay and Glass Glass Gallery is not only a great spot for Waterloo wedding photos, it's also a fantastic location to have your reception. The Gallery is beautiful inside, and I'd recommend it for anyone planning a Waterloo wedding.
Directly across from the Clay and Glass Gallery, is the Waterloo Park Grist Mill, another favourite Waterloo wedding photos location. The Grist Mill is almost 200 years old! It was originally built in 1816 by Waterloo's first settler Abraham Erb, and as you can see, it makes for a beautiful spot for wedding photos.
After we finished with wedding photos at the Grist Mill, we were off to St. George Hall, one of Kitchener Waterloo's premier banquet halls, for Chris and Katie's wedding reception.
