Kitchener Ontario Parks and Wedding Photos Locations

Kitchener Ontario has some great parks to consider for wedding photos if you're getting married in the Kitchener area.

Victoria Park is probably the most popular, and it has some beautiful spots for doing wedding photos. Keep in mind that because Victoria Park is so popular, it's fairly normal to see two or three other weddings being photographed there on any given Saturday throughout the wedding season. This can mean parking is hard to find, which can add to the time you'll need to budget for photos.

Woodside National Historic Site is a beautiful spot for wedding photos. Besides being the historic home of Canada's 10th Prime Minister, William Lyon McKenzie, Woodside boasts over 4 hectares of beautiful gardens and parklands. The house on the property dates back to 1853 and has been beautifully restored, making a great background for photos. Kitchener photographers love to shoot Woodside because there are so many possibities for photos.

Doon Heritage Crossroads is another great Kitchener spot to consider for wedding photo location. You'll find an open-air museum of the pioneer days, and a lot of fun spots to do wedding photos.

La Hacienda Sarria is probably the most beautiful spot in Kitchener. It's a renovated old factory over on Union Street. Renovated is the key word here. The owner gave the building an incredible makeover, turning it into a castle for his wife. Along the way, he paid attention to every little detail imaginable, from the hard wood floors to the beautiful iron work displayed throughout the property.

There's a beautiful Sunflower garden on one side of the property, complete with a series of ornate reflecting pools. The landscaping is incredible and serves to make the house itself look that much more majestic. Check out the photos from Krista and Aldo's wedding to see wedding photos at this amazing estate.

Here's a few highlights from Krista and Aldo's wedding. A great couple who chose a spectacular location for photos! La Hacienda Sarria is breathtaking!

The ceremony was at St. Anthony Daniel in Kitchener.

Then we jumped over to La Hacienda Sarria for photos.

And the reception was at Whistle Bear Golf Club in Cambridge.
