One of the best things about being a photographer, is when I get to put my childrens photographer hat on.

I love working with kids, and my niece Chloe is always a good sport about letting Uncle Matt take some new photos!

There's just something contagious about the smile on a little face.

And then of course I get to smile all over again when I'm going back later and working on the images. :-)

The Children of Kitchener Waterloo Project

We are searching for local, every day kids to appear in a very special fine art coffee table book titled... "Children of Kitchener Waterloo”.



A part of the “Children of Ontario” project, the book will be full of specially created emotive images of children photographed by acclaimed Ontario photographer Matt Ballard.

To take part in this project simply requires a donation of $25.00 to the McMaster Children’s Hospital and completion of the nomination form. Every child photographed will appear in the book and in the exhibition gallery at www.childrenofkitchenerwaterloo.com.
