Ava or Logan???

Julie is just the cutest pregnant Mom! And she's keeping the suspense up too!

Julie and Bentley decided they didn't want to know if the baby is a boy or a girl, so everyone is waiting to see if it's little Ava or little Logan.

Bentley was busy putting the finishing touches on the nursery while we were doing the shoot. Everything is going to be just perfect for the new addition the the family!

Long Point in Winter

Wide awake at 4am this morning. Coffee's on, camera bag is packed, and I've got my thermals on under my jeans.

4:30am and I'm rolling down the 401 to pick up Hwy 19 to Long Point.

After a couple of stops along the way for a photo or two, it's 6:15am, and I'm at Long Point, Ontario, on the Lake Erie shoreline. It's still pitch black out and plenty cold. The wind is bitingly cold as I get my tripod out of the trunk and prepare for the trek to the shoreline.

7:05am and Mike and Randy arrive. We agree we must be Canadians... who else would be crazy enough to be out in this weather in the wee hours of the morning.

But the light is worth it...

In the Tub!

These images are my absolute favourites of Chloe to date! They're a set of five 11x14 black & white prints that were a gift for my brother and sister-in-law, so I've been waiting to post them until after I gave them the prints (yesterday).

Isn't she just the cutest kid in the whole wide world!!!



She was getting such a kick out of pulling the sail off her sailboat...



and she loves to thump the side of the tub...



and then Auntie Renee would put the sail back on the boat... Wow!

Tim & Kim... the 'ims!

We were hoping for snow this past Saturday, as Tim and Kim were here from Australia to tie the knot and were hoping for a white wedding. Alas, the weather didn't cooperate, but we still had a blast and got some great photos! The "ims" (as I later found out they're collectively known as) were a lot of fun and a great couple to work with.

Paul & Chloe

I was looking through some recent prints, and this one made me smile. Mind you, just about any picture of my niece makes me smile... she's just so darn cute! This is Chloe with her Dad, Paul (my brother in case you didn't get that :) ).

Which reminds me... this year we're doing something really cool which I'm VERY excited about. We're donating 50% of all portrait session fees to the Children's Hospital Fund and the Children's Hospital of Western Ontario.

Part of the Children's Miracle Network, these folks do some amazing work helping sick kids and their families all across Western Ontario. I'll be posting more info in the coming days, but you don't have to wait... call today to schedule a portrait session and be a part of it all!

Finally, I've got blog!

Well, it took a while, but I finally have a blog up and running! I'll be attempting to keep it up to date with current events, photos, and other newsworthy stuff. Being a photographer, it seems silly to post without a photo, so here's one of my big cuddly bulldog, Hyla.
